well.......that is true tag and taranis.......
I didn't want to mention this, but......
well men(in general) also seem to go towards a stereotypical "hottie" who tends to treat them so bad it hurts me to see it...So maybe both men and women have a lot to learn?

Why didn't you want to mention that?  I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm a walking example of that... but I would disagree that most men allow the "hottie" to hurt them that badly.  Only the good ones do.

Well I'm gonna chime in and say that I personally think that Starbuck and Cassie were the best pairing.

She was a no nonsense gal and he was a devil may care and I think that they balanced each other out pretty well.  They were definately "yin and yang".  And much more fun to watch to boot Wink

It's true.  Women go for the "bad boys" and then have the gall to be stunned when they're hurt by them.

I think it's some genetic thing harkening back to the caveman days when women truly had to hitch themseles to the strongest in order to survive... but it boggles my mind in the modern world.

Bill I'm going to respectfully disagree.
Not all women go for the "bad boy" image.
Maybe they do today and I'm just "past it", but in MY day, in My world, a girl held on to a guy who was more than that.  Who had something to offer other than a "good time" and "hey baby I'm gonna rock your world".
Hell tonight, I went out with a girlfriend for drinks at the local bar and a 24 year old "bad boy" tried to pick me up.  Even if I were single ( and 24 again ), he wouldn't have had a chance. Wink

Well, if you're going to disagree with me, respectfully is the way to go.  Wink

Tracy, you are are a rare and precious gift.  Every rule has it's exceptions, and you are one.  When we are talking about the American Idol-watching huddled masses, however, I stand by my observations.

Respectfully.  Wink

Tracy,

I agree with you.  People from our generation looked for more than a good time.  They needed something real and lasting that would last for more than one night.  But then again I don't know if they thought that at first, and then matured and learned that there was more to it than a "good time".

I think you are more compatible with Apollo.  You know he is a family man.  Heck, he married a single mom.

I think that Starbuck and Cassie would make the best match, but he would never get sealed.  His personality is a devil may care, never settle down attitude.  Cassie always tried to get him to settle down and grow up, but it was a losing battle.

As for the man with the beard, I'd like to figure out who he is.  I emailed Begley, and he didn't know.  Surely some of the other character actors would know.

Now Warrior I think that you could have made someone like Cassi very happy!

Guys with mustaches get all the girls, in my opinion. I know this because my hubby caught me when he had one. He shaved it off shortly after we met and I made him grow it back as I like it!
