This poster shows up from time to time on ebay.  Don't think that this is the last time you will see it.

I do not.  The movie posters are enough for me.  I've probably seen this poster about 10 times in the last 2 years.  So it isn't rare, but it isn't something that you see a lot of.  Like that brown BSG wall poster with Starbuck in the middle of it.

It ended without a winner.  If you are interested, you could email the seller to see if he would sell it to you outright.

You mean the original 1978 toys?

When I was little, I had the viper, the scarab, the long range probe, the cylon, and the tall cylon action figure.  The toys came apart.  The nose detached from the engine, and you could make weird ships from all of the pieces from the viper, probe, and scarab.

Then that boy choked to death on one of the red pieces, and my parents hid them from me.  They started making the ships with non detachable red stubs on the ends of the weapons ports.

Dad ended up selling all of that stuff at the flea market when I was at college.  So unfortunately, I no longer have any of those toys from my youth.  I've always wanted to get another viper, with real red pieces, but they go for big money to other people also reliving their childhood.

MEMORIES

I knew a guy that had the Galactica, with the rubber band vipers.  Those were so cool to launch!!!

My son collected Star Wars action figures and while they were played with, we still have them in the attic.

I even have a Salacius Crumb on my dresser. Now my 5 year old grandson is getting into Star Wars.

Jim,

Nothing like passing it on to another generation, huh?

Are you going to take the toys out of the attics as the grandson grows older?

Or are they worth too much now?

Their mine, all mine

Nope they still belong to my son. It is his choice as he has 2 boys of his own. It's my daughter's son who is into SW.

I see...

Well, you can always get some of the new stuff.  That way you don't have to worry about them playing with the valuable old toys...
