Julix... she plays Rose in the new Dr. Who.

Not at all the Wonder Woman type, but... that's not a problem for me!  I've got no problem with a blonde Amazon with a British accent!  Cheesy

I hate to say this, but "Wonder Woman" is actually a show I don't *mind* them redoing.
Lynda Carter was fantastic, but I get reruns of the show here and I have to say...it's campy at it's finest.  For all those who say BSG '78 was cheesy, they need to watch Wonder Woman reruns.

I'm not sure who I'd cast as the new WW though.
Of course, she'd have to be someone of the 18-30 demographic and, well, since I'm WELL over 30...I probably won't have a frackin' clue who she is.  So in that case, I really don't care.
Sucks to be old.

Guess what???

They play the original Wonder Woman Movie(the pilot) at Starfest in the superhero theater room!  It was soo cool.  And yes cheese...well, I love cheese.........bring on the chesse!!!!  Actually, all those shows from that time period I just love.  I can see where some people have a problem....mostly people under 30 and I can understand it a bit.  But me I love it!!  It was so fun and I had a great time watching!  I didn't get to see it all but saw the last 30 minutes.........Wow now that is fun and that is entertainment!

Lynda Carter is originally from Phoenix. She went to High school with a friend I work with.

I always liked the WW comics

Here is a cool little interview I found about Wedon and he is asked who do you see playing wonder woman................

From IESB.net:

quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Our friends over at Universal Pictures were kind enough to arrange a quick interview with Joss Whedon and Morena Baccarin after their Serenity signing over at Wizard World this Sunday.

Joss was able to give us some insight on Serenity and of course we had to take the opportunity to ask him about Wonder Woman. Will we see the lasso? What is going on with the invisible jet? Who is the ideal Wonder Woman? Will it be an origin story? These questions and more are answered by Joss in this very funny interview.

You might be surprised in how Morena Baccarin reacts when we ask Joss who would be the ideal Wonder Woman.
