I liked how much starbuck was disturbed by seeing Cassie and Cain together, because i think it showed how much he really did care about Cassie.  At least that was my take on it Smiley   I think Cain was wonderful, very strong, handsome, and there was a special Je nes se quai.............

I think it shows that a younger woman and an older man can definitely have a good thing going.

I think Starbuck saw what the shoe was like on the other foot.

Cain certainly had magnetism. A quality many women (and men) find more appealling than muscles and fast cars (or Vipers).
It seemed to me that Cain also had a tender, gentle side, and that is what Cassy fell in love with - or perhaps I watched The Living Legend once too often!

You can never watch The Living Legend too many times!  Smiley I love that one, and I agree he had a special tender quality with Cassie!  Also a magnatism that was very appealing!

I actually saw a lot of similar qualities in Cain and Starbuck.  That brashness, self-confidence, magnetism, and an uncanny need to draw attention to themselves.  Not a big surprise that Cassie loved them both.

Agreed, but in comparison to Cain Starbuck was still green, yet to come into his own.

(I'm working on a fanfic where he does......)

But, yes, they are of the same type.

Ah, I love Starbuck stories.

You have your own site, eh?  For posting your stories I mean.  So . . . do you post as you write, or do you wait until it's fait accompli? In other words, when do I get to see it?  Cool

You'll get to see it when it is complete.  Right now there's a political mess that's got to be navigated that's about as treacherous as the improved-model Baltar.

If you'd like, you can read the fanfic I have completed at Dawg's House (see the link in my signature), or at Colonial Fleets, or at Battlestar Galactica Club.

Wink

Now don't virtual smack me, but I thought to myself--thought I--what "Battlestar Galactica Club"?  You guys get around.  There's a ton of fanfic stories there that I'm sure I've never seen.  Saw a few names from this site over there too.

A whole new world of fanfic has opened up to me.  Seems a bit tedious though, having to get three "ayes" to post your stuff.  What's that all about?

Yeah, we pop up in unusual places sometimes.  Wink

They do that to keep some measure of control over what gets posted.  They, like CF, are particular about what gets hosted there.

I can also get you another link to BSG fanfic, if you'd like.
