CF, eh? I find that place a bit difficult to navigate around. Must be some secret door to pass through to find anyone's fanfiction. I only saw two stories that Sen posted last month over there. Didn't see yours at all, Dawg. I once gave my permission to post a story there from the BSG Virtual Second Season, but I didn't see that either. Maybe you need to join up to have access. Anybody know?
So BSG Club is discriminating. I see... I think. So, does that mean three people have to actually read your stories through from end to end to make sure they meet the high standards over there? That's sounds challenging for anyone new. I'm still a little vague on this point. Can anyone clear it up?
Also that whole role play thing . . . do you have to participate? Sounds fun if you have a lot of time on your hands, but I don't. I'm more the type to pop in and out of forums when I see something that peaks my interest.
I'm a writer too, you see, which is why I'm asking. But I've mostly posted at the BSG Archives/list and Robert Hanczyk's BSG site. And fanfiction.net for its user friendly ease of posting/editing. Oh, and I did post one Cassiopeia oriented story here, as it seemed to be the appropriate place for it.
And I'm always looking for links to more good fanfiction, Dawg. Especially Starbuck oriented stories. They're my favourites. And right now I'm laid up after surgery, so I have a little extra time on my hands for a change. Probably why I've been looking around a bit more here, and elsewhere.

It sounds like you already know all the fanfic sites I know about, lzaza.
No, they don't need to read the entire fanfic over at BSGClub, but they ask you to post a "proposal", for lack of a better term. Check out their fanfic section, and I think they have the process laid out there.
I didn't think the Colonial Library at CF was members only. I'll have to check on that. I have a separate section there (as do several other authors). I'd encourage you to join, too, because there's more to the site than just art.
I'm not an RPG'er or an artist, either, but I belong to both sites and have for years. There are good discussions (and fun games).

Thanks, Dawg.
I did poke around a bit more. Found your story too. And your proposal, and saw that the "aye" process seemed to amount to three people saying, "sure, why not". Seems a bit more relaxed than I was imagining, thank goodness.

I was always intrigued by the Cassie Cain reltionahip. Cassie was not much older then Sheba, so I, personally, found it odd that there would be such a romance there.
But now that I'm older, I can see it. and I liked the chemistry there.
As for BSGC, I'm one of the older members there and one of the guys who give the Aye's. I've been around alot of Sci Fi sites where alot of the Fan fics go off on tangents. That's the main reason for the approvals.
I'm also fairly active in the Original Storyline of the RPs. If you don't have alot of time to take part, it's still ok, the story doesn't move huge amounts every day. Post when you can, and try to keep up. Most people don't have a problem doing it.
If you have any questions, just give me a yell.

Welcome over, Reaper.
As it turns out, I'm Zaz at the BSG Club, so I'm up to speed over there now. Love the place, laddie!

It's wonderful to be here.
I also think that Cassie and Cain were great together.

I liked how much starbuck was disturbed by seeing Cassie and Cain together, because i think it showed how much he really did care about Cassie. At least that was my take on it
I think Cain was wonderful, very strong, handsome, and there was a special Je nes se quai.............
I chiefly liked the chemistry between Cain and Cassie.
I think they were a terrific pair. I really felt that Cassie belonged with Cain.

I'm writing a sequel to a story I've written.
In this sequel I'll have Cassiopeia sealed to Commander Cain.
I thought that they're were a terrific pairing.

To me, it seemed perfectly understandable. Older man, in a bad emotional way, younger woman who makes him feel alive again. I think that from Cassie, Cain felt truly alive, something he only otherwise felt in the thick of battle.

I 100% agree.
I don't think the age difference really mattered in the relationship
between Cassie and Commander Cain.
There was a
true
chemistry there and love.
I really liked that pairing.

As did I. And while he was a Warrior through and through, I think the realization that he had, in a way, lost Cassie again, gave Cain the extra surge of fury he felt when going after Baltar. As if he felt his loss all over again.
