Great memories,
In 1969 I was asked to be a stand/in for actor Dudley Sutton (see imdb) and he told me we had six weeks working with Peter Lawford and Sammy Davis Jnr. The best was still to come...
The Director of the film was my hero for the last decade Mr Jerry Lewis.
I have seen everyone of Jerrys films as a kid and now I was working with him...I didn't get much better than that...

They all got on well with cast and crew and we had a great six weeks filming in the old MGM studios Borhamwood and on location down in the West Country.. Here's a pic of Jerry 1969,, It was signed but it's faded.

What you saw is what you got from Sammy. He would always greet you each morning with a hand shake and ask how you were,
(he was not best pleased with me the day I beat him at stud poker  )

Aitch,
I love people who are what ya see is what ya get...........It is so much easier to deal with....even if it is negative, at least you know where you stand.  It is much harder to deal with the game playing for me..............This(these stories) is just great stuff Smiley
