Hi all!!!!!!! I got offical word that I get to plan a whole Battlestar convention at Starfest www.starland.com next year!!!!!! the dates are April 21-23rd 2006 so let's put on our thinking caps and put together some initial ideas........ What would you like to see and who??? |

Mike I understand that there will be elements of both shows represented. After all a convention is all about attendance and it would be foolish to exclude a part of the fan base. |

It will have both segments of Galactica. I totally love TOS and that is where my heart is. I do have friends that love the new show and with a sci-fi convention the director wants both. I understand that.

Jim I am going this year, first of all the Shat is there! Second, I kind of felt like if I was given charge of organizing nex't years BG section. I should um kind of go play nice!  |

Will the main theme of the con be Battlestar Galactica? Or will BG just be a part of it?
Having the new and old is a good idea. I love the original. I like the new series.
Having the new cast there will bring a lot more people. I understand that some people have been trying to organize a con for just the original, and there just wasn't enough interest to justify having it.

Well Jim, See the thing is photos are a record and I like to go with the saying "what happens at the con stays at the con!" :lol: But it maight be a possibility........ :twisted: Serina huh? She dies pretty early in the series.............hmmmmmm |
