Julix,

Thanks!  I'll keep you all updated.  It's a dream come true.  I had to run out today and buy 84 Sharpies for the folks running the convention.  Evidently they don't have them over there.

Flight in was great.  Though I couldn't sleep very much, and was sore from sitting in one place for 7.5 hours.

The country is awesome.  They don't have a lot of room, so they take a lot of bikes.  I saw one parking garage with more bikes than I had seen in the rest of my life put together.  I wonder if the exercise helps with the obesity rate.

Met the guy I was staying with and three other fans at the airport.  We toured Amsterdam.  We took a canal boat tour, so I got to the see the wonderful architecture.  Too many nice sights to even list here.  Did pass by Anne Franks house though.

Then went to a little tourist trip town, where I got the souveniers out of the way.  Delft Tile, Delft plate, Dutch dolls, and wooden shoes should keep the family happy.

I sure slept well after being up for so many hours.  It's Friday morning now.  MAD and I are going to the actor's hotel, and doing interviews of most of the BSG cast.  Dennis is doing the Star Wars, and one for Gil Gerard and Erin Grey that I wanted to set in on, but MAD and I are scheduled to do Terry Carter at the same time.

This probably will be the best day.  To get to set down and talk to the actors.  But of course the con itself will be fun as well.  I'm still not for sure what my role will be in the crew, but I'm sure it will be fun regardless.

sounds wonderful Mike.............I bet it is beautiful! Sounds like you have a full day planned......the friday part of the con is the best, I think.  The actors have just started and they are excited and usually very talkative! Smiley Good Luck!
