You know, I haven't seen any oatmeal here in a long time.

Ok here is a serious question.

Does anyone know how to take a packet or two of Ramen noodles and make it healty in a microwave? I usually take the packet ( without the seasoning), put in a bowl, add turkey dogs sliced and then water to cover noodles. I cook a minute and a half and let the noodles steep while I go back to my desk. Then I add teh seasoning. Of course the seasoning is teh worst thing for you so I am looking for some ideas to still have the noodles but make it healthier.

need to lose some weight but not sure if eating noodles even healthy ones is the way to go. Need a cheap lunch at work.

Jim,

It seems you might want to just go without the noodles completly.  I think you should shoot for protein and veggies.  Sometimes I get a baked Cjicken breast from the deli and there are green giant frozen veggies in a packet you can nuke them in microwave and it would be much better for you!

Plan?  Grin I plan to keep eating.

I cut out the toast, cheese and ham sandwiches today. Usually eat that after the cheerios.

1 step at a time. At least until my check up on Friday. The BP meds don't appear to be working like they used to.
