We met him at Starfest(the con I was supposed to do a whole BG section)Denver.  I will be transcribing the interview and posting it and my general thoughts.  The interview was surreal, I mean you are sitting there in a small private area with a man that played one of my all time favorite characters!!!

Very cool amiga. (did you stuff him into your back pack and take him home?

That is great. Was anyone else there besides Dirk?

I am trying to put together some of what Dirk and I talked about.........my hubby couldn't get a word in LOL, He teased me about that! Before the interview Dirk made it pretty clear he didn't like talking a lot about past things he has done and as he explained a bit I understood his point of view, he is focused on the present and moving foward. I felt so honored to be talking to him and I respected his feelings. I did want to ask a billion questions about starbuck but I respected and understood where he was at. I am very much like that with anyone. I would never make it in any cutthroat business. I will be posting that interview........which was more like a gab session soon.

Isn't it the biggest rush ever to get to see in person your heroes?  And the best part is that you aren't disappointed with these guys.  They are as nice and wonderful in person off screen as they were onscreen.

I have been working really hard on getting the interview all typed up and it has taken me over 4 hours!  I should have it posted in the next day or two.  Sorry I haven't been on Yahoo IM at all.  I should be back online in the next day or so! Cool
