I went to go see this movie and I thought it was pretty good and pretty entertaining............However my hubby was a fan of the book and radio shows and said he thought they were much better........



I thought it was kind of zany and nutty.........hmmm I was told the creator got the idea for the story after passing out at a pub on the lawn and looking up at the stars thinking someone should write a hitchhicker guide............well, that explains a lot!!!

We liked it, and we are both radio/ book/ TV series fans. I never expected it to be the same, just in the style of, which I think it really was.
For everything that was 'better' somethingelse was 'different' or 'not as good' so it all balanced by the end credits.
Each version is a reflection of the time and the medium it was made in.

Enjoy each for themselves .

I think he was just making an observation............I think sometimes when there is other material out there it is hard not to compare................but I thought it was pretty entertaining..I usually try to go out and support any Sci-fi I can Cheesy
