Ep II was even worse at that romantic dialog.

Examples- Talking normally, they say "can't", "don't" etc.

But when they get into the romantic talk, it turns into "cannot" "will not", "do not" etc.

Hey, you *know* I love the smacking, but what I said about the ROMANTIC dialog is true.

They talked like card board cut-outs in those parts.

Warrior, This film was my favorite of the entire series, which says alot considering I have been a fanatic since day one in '77. But I have to agree, some of the romantic scenes were weak. The one that made me cringe was when Padme was on the balcony brushing her hair with Anakin behind her. "Oh, I want to go back to Naboo and set up the baby's room, and we'll be together and la la la la la..."

Ugh. I cringed. That was almost as bad as Nooooooooooooooooo!
