I reckon I have seen dresses close to this in shops in the Mall. Along with the long wide skirts and the knee high boots.
Isn't it weird how fashion turns in cycles..
Although the old adage of if you are old enough to remember it from the first time around you are too old to wear it the second time.. is probably true for a majority of people.
You may be lucky enough to find a base pattern for a similar item in the new seasons pattern books (that could be modified easier than drafted from scratch)

I am hoping to get a good seamstress to sew a copy........I had my wedding dress made by hand and she never even used a pattern Sadly she is not doing that work any more......she got a different job . So, I am gonna try to find another person. I don't follow rules about fashion........I am on the cutting edge :lol: :lol: :lol: Just kidding.......(but not really) |
