There are things that I have had for far too long, always meaning to put it on Ebay or somehow else generate revenue for the wares I've had in my closets and other places of storage in my home. My mom had sold on Ebay before she died, and I still have a lot of things she'd purchased in order to resell, much in brand new, still sealed in plastic, mint condition.

So now I have a growing Ebay store, with yet a great deal more things to list over the next week.

I'm still figuring out some of this as I go, but I'm certainly getting a hang of the process.

Here is my account profile, with lists of items for sale.

http://myworld.ebay.com/savvor

I sold two items already, and both paid me on Paypal. As soon as they paid me, I gave them both positive feedback for paying so fast. THey got their items from me a few days later. One person gave me positive feedback, and the other hasn't bothered to do it yet. I sent her an email last night telling her I was following up to make sure everything arrived all right. I also hinted that I'd given her positive feedback, and I'd appreciate the same. No response yet.

I'm selling the toaster that may one day save the world!
Not really.

This is the perfect toaster for fans of the Blues Brothers!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=180084809770

Some excerpts from my listing, for kicks and giggles:

Quote
Proctor Silex Bagel Smart toaster- still in sealed box
Calling Elwood Blues, this is the toaster for you!

Quote
If, like Elwood Blues, you love your toast toasted well, and if your last bread cooker is toast, then I raise a drinking glass and propose a toast to you and your new special bread and bagel toaster (glass sold seperately).

Quote
Proctor-Silex has been in business, and making toasters, for more than 80 years, fine tuning their devices and honing their arts to finally make this one perfect toaster specifically for you. Well, maybe not for you per se, but it sounded good, didn't it? Did it make you feel good reading that? Yes, I admit it, I was buttering you up. I hope it worked, or else I'm toast.
I'm going to start the bidding at 16.99, which for the value of great toast from a great toaster, really isn't a whole lot of bread.

Quote
Return Policy Details: Returns accepted with the box unopened. Or if opened, only with the product unused. You can't get much money reselling a used toaster that once was brand new, so I'll refund money in full (not including handling and postage) so long as it has no mileage and no toastage. So remember, I will refund minus postage, as long as there's no toastage.

I did finally get the good feedback I'd waited on. Sweet! I'm getting great positive feedback! This was important to me, that since I was so new to the Ebay selling community, that people see feedback to know that I'm trustworthy to buy from. Now the goal is to keep it coming, and keep the masses satisfied.  Cool

I have a dish set of fine China that I want to list on Ebay but I do not know the manufacturer nor the name of the set. Neither is printed on the bottom. There are Chinese characters there that say "Made in China". It says Made in China in English there as well so I figured it I took it to someone who could read the language they could tell me if the Chinese translates to the company name. But not, it says Made in China just like the English words. So here I am stumped. I don't know, short of taking it to an appraiser, if this set is worth $40 or in the hundreds. I'm tempted to submit photos to an appraisal website I've dealt with already, aside from that I can't tell them the manufacturer. Maybe they would know by the photos themselves and the designs, or maybe not. Or maybe by some lucky chance one of my BSG friends happens to have a bit of knowledge about fine China and can give me some ideas?

Let me know what you know, if you know what I hope one of you knows. You know what I mean?

Hi Ron!  Good to see you!  I do not know anything about china, there should be a local dealer who would know.  It is very beautiful.  Good luck with that......even contact some ebay sellers and they may know.

I own some circa 1973 Noritake china.  If you have an antique mall near you, you will get oodles of information.

Friends, I have a large stock of Pfaltzgraff Tea Rose Collection items in new condition, waiting to find a home. My mother had purchased it all before she died in her bid to resell it on EBay, and now I mean to follow through and auction it all off.

Tea Rose makes a great gift, or a great addition to a collection or the start of one. Help me find a home for all this stuff. I have much listed already, and plan to list even more very soon.

Click away and away you go, to Ebay where my items are to show: http://myworld.ebay.com/savvor
