I feel bad for her. She, by most accounts, was something of a tortured soul. Many problems. No one deserves what she went through with the death of her son, the constant media pressure, etc. Say what you will about her, but I hope that she finds some peace now.

I suspect she was a woman who was very sad and alone and may have lacked real friends. I don't know. I suspect she will continue to be fodder for comedians and even Christians in her death.

I wish I could put my finger on this, but this just really gave me a moment of pause and a thought that no one should be alone and no one should be ridiculed.

I used to make fun of Tammie Faye Bakker and laugh at all the jokes on SNL. The Sundance Channel  One Punk Under God series showed me a different side of her. A woman who is a mother, a woman who is a devout believer, a human being bravely facing her death in stage four cancer and not a joke.

I dunno, my convoluted deep thought for the day.

I think one of the things to come away with is don't judge others.........something I try to always do.  I do think it is very tragic and very sad!  I feel for the liitle girl.  I am always toched and sad when parent/children can't be together, I guess because of my own experience.

Isn't it amazing how we can sit on an ivory tower and judge and sicker at the shortcomings and suffering of others because they are in the spotlight, but we would be indignant if it was a neighbor.
