My dinner last night was a fantastic makeshift dinner I prepared for myself. It was a little bit dryer than it should have been (I cooked it longer than necessary to melt cheese at the end, and the white meat was dry to begin with) but otherwise it was so very good. It was one of those things I used to do on a whim, without any recipe or preparation, and just winged together a most amazing chicken and kitchen sink stir-fried omelette. It was my own recipe and I should have written it down.

First, some olive oil in the pan.

Then, several slices of routisserrie (sp?) chicken meat right off the cooked bird I had bought a few nights ago. But not thin slices, no, thick chunks an inch or so long and a quarter thick. And several thinner slices too.

Then, 3 eggs, cracked and dropped right over the chicken chunks.

A light sprinkling of Montreal Steak Seasoning.

A light sprinkling of crunchy salad toppings.

Some parsely flakes.

A medium sprinkling of bacon bits (the one thing I regret adding, on principle).

A heavy sprinkling of oregano.

Another egg, because 3 weren't enough.

About 5 slices of cold cut meat--turkey and turkey-bolonga--broken up into pieces and mixed in.

4 slices of fat-free American cheese torn into strips and melted in.

Several crinkle-cut Mt. Olives bread and butter-flavored pickle slices (has anyone else had these? They are the ish in delish.).

Mixed it all together...

And last of all, when done I scooped half onto a fat-free-butter sprayed matzah, and the other half onto a non-dietary paper plate and enjoyed it all immensely. Even the plate.

Who else has made meals like this, just thrown together without a recipe, and how did it turn out? Next time I'll tell you about my special Tovomelettes I used to make with eggs, lunch meats, various cheeses, and hot sauces.

I'm still planning to remake my Tovomellet ASAP. But for now, there was this that I made for lunch a couple of days ago. It was a stir fry, and it was to die for.

I started out with vegetable oil in a pan. I wish I had used olive oil but I don't have any to my best knowledge. Next time I'll def use olive oil.

I threw in one 6 oz bag of Tyson Seasoned Steak Strips. I made a stir fry last night with their chicken, and I tell you this meat is good enough to eat cold from the bag. Both the chicken and the steak strips are very tasty.

About 6 oz (half of the bag...I used the first half last night with the chicken) of Foxy Vegetable Stir-Fry, which includes broccoli, thin baby carrots, sugar peas and celery.

Half of a large onion, diced and slided into some strips long, and some strips small.

Several slices of Mt. Olive Bread 'n Butter flavored pickles.

A heavy sprinkling of Badia Whole Oregano,
Grill Mates Montreal Steak seasoning,
Fisher's parsley flakes,
Tone's crushed red pepper,
...and a light pouring of Jamaican Country Style salsa picante hot pepper sauce.

All of this fried till long after it's steaming, and you consider it a pleasure just to lick the spatula afterward, once it's cooled off a bit.

I must say, dayum this ish was delish.

I have yet to feature my almost-famous Tovomelette, which only 3 people other than myself have had the good fortune to enjoy with me. That shall be coming soon. And then, my peeps, you shall know the joys of eating what the Tov has created.
I went food shopping again Saturday night and bought a lot of good stuff for stir-fried meals. I have started a new trend, away from the overload of fast food I used to eat, and the frozen dinners I relied on, and I have become semi-psyched to make myself grand meals from now on.

My new catch phrase shall be, "I am Tov...hear me munch."

(For anyone confused, though I'm 14th Colony here, Jules and others know me as Tovor on other boards)

I made a plate of fajita chicken stir-fry Sunday afternoon. It is basically the same ingrediants as the steak stir-fry above, but of course for the chicken. It was Tysons Fajita Chicken Breast Strips. And I added Wylers Instant Bouillon Chicken, Garlic, and Herb seasoning. I let the dish cook for a bit longer than usual, aquiring blackened edges with a slight crunch and spice that adds to the taste. I had also pre-sprayed the pan with olive oil-flavored cooking oil. Not only does it make cleaning up a breeze, it's quite tasty too).
