Well, I was at Starbucks between 2 and 3 and since I didn't want to hang around I left and went headed down the street looking for some place to eat. I turned into IHOP parking lot next to teh hotel acrosss teh street from Gammage. There were 2 tour buses in the lot wirth the windows covered. I pulled int a spot and got out, just as Lisa opened the door and stepped out, less than 10 feet from me. To say I was startled would be a laugh. Recovering , I said. Your Lisa, (duh) I am a fan (not as stalker<g>) Welcome to Phoenix. (We were in Tempe, but most people think of this whole place as Phoenix.)

Right behind her was another person, but my eyes were on Lisa.  We chatted as we walked towrds the hotel/Ihop As we got to the IHOP door, she was continuing on. We said our good byes and I turned around and there was Orla. We sopke and she offered me her hand. (She wanted it back though)

As I went inside, the hostess led me to the fourth boot and as I sat down i was looking at Maired in booth 2. Since she was eating, I did not disturb her. Gazing outside I saw Chloe walking down the side walk.

The waitress told me that a beautiful blonde had come in earlier with a stroller (with child). Later I was outside of Gammage waiting for the show and I saw 2 women walking from the hotel to Gammage and sure enough it was Maeve.

May not have gooten to meet you all, but I think I had a great time anyway.

Then the show.

I didn't notice in Act 1 but in Act 2, Maired definitely had an ace bandage on her right leg. What a trooper.  I was in Tier C first row Stage right. Those 10x25 biniculars were great and I got some real nice visuals of the girls and the stage.

The show was great. While I love Maeve, Scarborough Fair belong to Haley. Caldonia and the Voice belong to Lisa and Carricferus belongs to Orla.

As they were singing at the end, I had my glasses on Chloe when she opens her mouth and says "Thank you you have been a great audience." without breaking a stride." Love the accent.

I like the costumes for At the Celi" better than on the DVD, and I think the alterations of their gowns give them more freedom of movement.  I watched at Chloe skipped off the stage several times as if she were trul;y enjoying herself.

Thank you ladies for a grand time.

Yes they are. During act 1 that night, Mairead twisted her ankle and in act 2 was weaing an air cast. Didn't slow down. I heard that afterwards, Lisa helped her to the van and took her to the doctors (hospital probably) and then escorted her back on crutches.

the next night she didn't slow down and as they were boarding the bus, Lisa escorted her to the bus then turned around and waved to the fans.

I have seen the group on the tube (a friend's house), but I could never get into it. Just no zap at all.
Is this a group that primarily appeals to women?

Nope, there are a LOT of men who are fans also. Young and old. You need to see them live and not on PBS.

Now you see why I am a big fan of the girls? I have met Lisa and Orla (when she was with the group) back in 07.
