Sorry I been quiet.  I have been scary busy.  In about 12 hours I don a cap and gown and I graduate with my degree in pastoral studies.  Only took me 20 years to get the dang degree, but there you go.  Smiley

I will be around after I recover.  Smiley

I am so proud of you.  Now when I have questions I'll know who to come to and have some discussions with.

God Bless

Meh.  Every week I meet with the pastor who is sponsoring my church plant...I am swiftly learning the degree is valuable, but there is a lot more we learn when we explore our hearts.

I've learned that when we truly walk with God we never stop asking questions or learning from Him..

I always have questions and I'm always searching for answers..that is the only way for ones faith to grow.

I remember  that when we ask God for anything we should shut up and LISTEN.

Congrats.

I have friedns from Church who keep trying to get me into the Deaconate program, but Sacristan is fine with me. Already been a Seminarian.

A Deacon is one step before Priesthood. as in Sub Deacon, Deacon, Priest.

While the true Sacristan took care of the Church property, , today's Sacristans are in charge of the Sacristy, and the Mass. We make sure everything is ready for Mass to begin and clean up afterwards for the next mass.
