Now this is more like it!
What's on the dinner menu tonight people?
I'm having ...good question actually
Something, I'll think of something. Well this is a retched beginning, isn't it? :?
( a few centons pass)
I just returned from the freezer, we're having those yummy chicken garlic balls that are lightly crumbed on the outside, and wait! I 'll get back to you on the accompaniments!
Have a great night everyone, wherever you are!

Well, on Saturday we had a barbecue with the kids. There's a Bavarian sausage place about a half-mile away that does all different varieties of wurst. My favorites are spicy beer, and smoked bratwurst.
They are heaven off the grill.
Add to that some fresh-made sauerkraut (from the same place), fresh-made mustard (from the same place), caramelized sweet Vidalia onions and some Bush's baked beans, and you have a feast.
I ate way too much.
Tonight was a chicken thigh simmered in a fantastic spaghetti sauce over brown rice penne, and a bourbon and Coke.
And I'm supposed to avoid animal....
No bleu cheese, Jim?

Wow, that go the thread going!
Dawg, you like German food? I happen to be half german myself.
BTW, how do you pronounce your handle name? i'm always wondering. :?
Is it like Doug? or does it end up sounding like an american Southerner when they say the word dog?

I like German food, French food, Hungarian food, Japanese food, Mexican food, Scandinavian food, Chinese food, Irish food, Thai food......
Not so crazy about American food, but I grill a mean steak.
In other words, I like food.
And do you know how foolish the word "food" looks after you type it so many times?
Pronounce my handle the way Randy Jackson says it, but with more meaning.

I was going to go out for fish and chips but ended up having barbecued jumbo shrimp and vegetables on a skewer with roast potatoes and ice cream and fresh strawberries for dessert.
