We're saving that for Sunday - the kids are coming over for Christmas dinner Saturday.  Wink

Having a great day - watching the Rose Bowl - actually looks like a pretty good game.

It will be fun.

But the Rose Bowl turned out to be something of a rout.  Penn State couldn't get it together against USC.

It was still a pretty good day.  Wink

Happy new year everyone! I hope you all have peace, joy, and prosperity.

I have some new challenges to start the year off, such as being laid off (along with the rest of the company, after we were purchased), and knowing that I'm going to have to leave here pretty soon and find a new place to live. I said that back in the winter or spring of '08 and managed to last until now, but now it looks like my time here is coming to an end. On the one hand I don't want to accept it because to be honest I fear change, but on the other hand, I don't want to stay here. Too many bad memories, hassles, conflicts, and regrets abound in this condo and condo building, so in reality I do want to move out in the next two months anyway. So it looks like 2009 is the year of change after all, and through God and his plan, my life is going to change for the better, somehow. I just wish I didn't have to search for a new job, and a new home, at the same time. Smiley

Welcome back Ron. Hope your situation improves. My department expects to bite teh bullet in June and after 22 years I am not looking forward to it.

There is a lot of that going around.  Good luck.

Ron, that search is actually one and the same.  Wink

I don't know if I've ever been told, but what do you do?

Ron, I was just thinking about you!  I am so glad to see you.  I know change can be hard but it can also be very very good and spark changes that need to be made that would not have been otherwise!  So remember to believe in yourself and think positive!  I think it will bring some really good things.  I will pray that it will!  I have to take my daughter to school but please come around and say hi and let us know how it is going!
