Since alot us in here are parents..i thought it might be nice to start a thread where we can get together and ask questions about parenting. So what do you think?

well,
I am really upset.........my son is suppose to graduate 6th grade and go on to middle school(jr high) and I went to the school/teacher two months ago to get the date.....because my mom has to request it off in advance(retail) and we were planning our vacation.  Long story short..........we are going to miss the graduation because of poor planning and bad communication........the last of 6 years of it there............ :x

I know that's hard...Down here we start with a May graduation date but have to play musical dates because of the weather and missed school because of snow days..

well,
that is why I went to specifically ask when it was happening...............and had they said there may be other dates they were looking at(this is an indoor graduation) I can see that, but they did not.  And it is just more of the same that i experienced.  that is one big reason I take my daughter to a different school district.
